Bryce Dallas Howard, 28, (The Village) will be taking over the role of Victoria, a vampire who wants to get even with Bella, in the third Twilight movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. She’ll be replacing Canadian actress Rachelle Lefevre, 30, who played the role in the first and second films. “Rachelle brought Victoria to great screen life, and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character,” says Erik Feig, president of worldwide production and acquisitions for Summit Entertainment. “The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.” Howard is the daughter of famed director Ron Howard. According to Summit, Lefevre is leaving the series because of scheduling conflicts. She’s signed to appear opposite Dustin Hoffman in Barney’s Version, which begins filming in Quebec at the same time Eclipse shoots in British Columbia.
