It’s no secret that Taylor Lautner will be showing off his brand new muscles in the upcoming New Moon, but the young star admits he’s a little embarrassed by all the attention. In an interview with Usmagazine.com, Lautner said, “It’s actually quite uncomfortable knowing so many people are seeing that!… It’s a little bit embarrassing!” But rest assured, those hang-ups didn’t stop Lautner from posing on the cover of the October issue of Teen Vogue.

It seems New Moon star Taylor Lautner may have a new girlfriend – Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez. According to the L.A. Times, the two actors have repeatedly been spotted together in Vancouver, and gossip is floating around the web. But not everyone is convinced… Doubters point to the fact that Lautner and Gomez arrived separately at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party on Friday… although Gomez did talk an awful lot about Mr. Lautner in an interview with radaronline.com whlie on the red carpet.
After months of speculation and gossip floating around the blogosphere, it seems New Moon stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will finally confirm the rumours that they are indeed dating. According to In Touch, the young actors spoke openly about their relationship during an interview that will appear in the December issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Not everyone, however, is convinced. Gossip Cop, for example, insists that while the couple did take part in a photo shoot for the magazine, they definitely did not talk about real-world romance of any kind. I guess we’ll just have to wait for December and see!
Examiner.com is reporting that Jackson Rathbone, who plays vampire Jasper Hale in the upcoming New Moon, was injured while filming the third instalment of The Twilight Saga in British Columbia. No specific details yet as to what went wrong, but apparently he was injured while preparing to film a fight sequence. No need to worry though! A Summit Entertainment spokesperson said, “As a precaution, he was driven to the hospital and checked out by a doctor. He’s fine and back at work on the set of Eclipse.” Co-star Ashley Greene seems to agree with the diagnosis; she posted to her Twitter, “Just got off set…. Jackson seems like he’s ok thank God…. can’t believe he came to work today! He’s a trooper 
”
Twilight author Stephenie Meyer has another movie franchise on the way, this one based on her new novel The Host, a futuristic love story about an alien invasion of Earth. According to hitfix.com, sci-fi director Andrew Niccol will helm the film. Niccol was asked to direct by producers Nick Welcher and Steve and Paula Mae after Meyer informed them that Niccol’s previous films Gattaca and The Truman Show were among her favourites. The Host will be financed independently, with distribution deals yet to be determined.
Fans waiting to get their hands on brand new Twilight merchandise can now see a preview of the New Moon t-shirts, key chains and jewellery that will be released in advance of the movie.
